I spent yesterday at Lori's helping clean and feed and water the
fuzzbutts. I thing Winchester saw me coming. He laid in the nesting
box and let me pet him, and scritch him and let me hold him--all
without any atttempt to bite or nip. He seems to loke a little
attention. He is a huge 4 y.0. roan sable hob. He is gorgeous!!
And best of all---HE IS MINE!!! THANK YOU ;ORI!!
It was chilly in my bedroom where he now resides, and this am he was
all curled up in a very soft and warm sleepysack. LOL- I cant seem to
get him out of it today!!
I hadnt been to lori's all week because of work and Dave is down with
a broken shoulder--he says its from cleaning up too much poop!! But
things are happening fast there. All looks better everytime I see it.
I love meeting people i have seen and heard of. Of course Scarlet was
there and was soooooo willing to answer my ferret questions, as was
Julie Dyke and another show judge i met who was wonderful. To me,
meeting the new ferret people is half the fun!! Everyone is so willing
to share their knowledge and experiences.
I wish to THANK ALL who are so generously helping. Ferrets First of Va.
was there too. Nice to meet you Jack!!
A young couple from Michigan came 6 hours 1 way to choose some ferrets
and take them to a new forever home. I hope they had a safe trip beck!!
Please give some time to help if you can. It is a very rewarding and
fun experience!!!
Sue and DAve and the WINCHESTER WEEZILS, AND WINCHESTER!!
