I do not know much about this "new" product advertised in TV, but
when I lived in an apartment above others who "raised", or seemed to,
cockroaches, a friend gave me a "box" that plugged into the electric
socket, but instead of sending something through the wiring, as this
new one states, this 3"x3" box, which looked like a tiny "speaker",
simply made a "clicking" sound, ..no particular beat, but like a
miniature "Geiger counter"! It quickly took care of the "bug" problem,
w/o hurting the fert`s ears. It wasn`t that loud, hardly detectable
when 6 foot or so away by humans. I haven`t seen one since, but maybe
someone else has had one!?...
