Hello Everyone! There are ONLY 2 more weeks till the LOS March shows.

We still need more/would like more entries for the Saturday & Sunday
shows.

"For Saturday we need entries for":

Altered Female (there are only 10 ferrets)

Male Kit (there are only 11 ferrets)

Senior (there are only 4 ferrets)

Handicap (there are only 6 ferrets) " IF your ferret is blind, deaf,
missing a leg or foot, paralized or incontinent, etc, they can be put in
this class.)

Albino (there are only 6 ferrets)

Black Sable (there are only 3 ferrets)

Chocolate (there are only 7 ferrets)

Cinnamon (there are only 4 ferrets)

Mutt (there are only 6 ferrets)

Sable (there are only 7 ferrets)

WWDE & WWDE w/P (there are only 7 ferrets)

"For Sunday we need entries for":

Teenager (there are only 8 ferrets)

Senoir (there are only 2 ferrets)

For each class there are about 15 ribbons ordered so we would like to
have enough ferrets in every class for all the ribbons.

Dawn wanted me to post that if you want to enter more ferrets or still
want to enter inorder to help fill the classes, the entries will be $10
per entry BUT if you do 3 entries you only pay for 2 and the 3rd one is
free. Keep in mind though that your ferrets entries will NOT appear in
the show books. Shot record rules still apply so you will still need to
bring them with you. To read more on the requirements to enter into
thew shows, please go to:

www.freewebs.com/losnational

Please contact Dawn at [log in to unmask] with your entries. Please
remember that the money raised from these shows goes to help provide
for the ferrets in the LOSN Shelter.

Subject: More painless ways to help a shelter

The Rezweezil ferrets could use your help. We still have lots of basics
like food, treats, toys, bedding, and small-group cages, thanks to our
wonderful santas. And our santas helped with a surgery run in January.
This got surgeries for Butter and Theo, a tooth cleaning for Alfie,
and meds for BonBon and Willow. We will be making another run for the
border soon, bringing an assortment of ferrets to El Paso for surgery.
In particular, we have Jennifer, a new addition who arrived today. This
tiny light sable girl is very adrenal and very confused, but still very
spunky. We could also use help getting annual vaccines, which are
coming due soon, and maybe another FN and/or FN level, along with
staples like vetasyl, chicken baby food, and other yums.

I'm thrilled to report that I've recently discovered that Amazon.com
carries Ferret Nation cages, distemper vaccine, and lots of other
neccessaries for the shelter. Most of these can be gotten cheaper at
some on-line ferret stores, but the advantage of Amazon, for me, is
that I have a number of ways to get amazon gift certificates (well,
that and the free shipping that comes with many of their things).
Soooooo--First off, I've listed a number of books under the seller name
theclover. If you're interested in buying some of them, your money will
go straight to new cages, vaccines, etc. I've got lots of old, even
historic issues of Journal of American Folklore and similar periodicals
that I'm trying to decide whether to relist. If that sort of thing
interests you, please let me know. (Also the original Dodd edition of
the Water Babies with the Jessie Wilcox Smith illustrations.)

I can also earn Amazon gift certificates through Mypoints, and you can
help here, too. For free. Just email me and allow me to send you a
membership refferal. Once you sign up, I get 100 points. They really
do add up. Mypoints is worth signing up for, too. Good rewards.

I'll be listing some more things on ebay soon, at Ferret Moms United
(thanks, Julie!). And there's also ferretbedding.com , with both
bedding and custom ferret jewelry.

Thanks,

--Clover
