Laryssa, more and more reports of adrenal disease and insulinoma are
coming from Europe and there have always been cases that fit but the
treating vets thought the problems did not exist there, same as has
happened in some areas with ADV on more than one continent. These
short posts and one 1999 link will interest you and are best read in
order from the original posts and through these replies:

Important reminder for all: when researchers study possible
considerations it means that they are learning IF those exist and if
so then to what levels. All too often in such discussions a few people
will think that is something is being studied then it somehow must be
known, but actually the opposite is reality: studies are done to see
if what might be possible actually does exist. Recently, I have gotten
a few letters from two people saying that if something is studied then
there must already be hard data which should be shared, but really
things are studied to get hard data and answer questions. The data
does not exist until after the work has been done.
