I don't know much about the drugs you mentioned in your post, but I did
have a big boy, Harry, with an enlarged heart and a murmer. He was put
on enalapril. Eventually when he got fluid around his heart he was put
on lasix as well. Amazingly, after a couple years, the murmer left and
his heart returned to normal.

I had no trouble giving him his meds. I found I could dissolve the pill
in a tiny bit of water, and then added ferretvite, mixed it with a
toothpick, and he happily licked it off my finger or a tiny plate. That
always worked for me with pred as well, which was given to me in pill
form, and they melt really well in a tiny amount of water. The lasix
was a liquid, and I added it to duck soup (in my case turkey baby food
mixed with BC chicken gravy) and he never seemed to notice the meds. I
think the Gerber turkey has an odor and taste that disguises many
things.

Some pills I had to smash with the back of a spoon because they didn't
melt easily, but getting him to take them disguised in ferretvite was
never difficult, as long as there was enough ferretvite. Hope that
helps.
