The rescue's bill at Chadwell Animal Hospital is very very high. As
always there have been a high number of dumped ferrets, and almost
everyone that Claudia has taken in recently, needs medical attention.

Claudia got in 3 ferrets from PG county SPCA in Md last Wed. Sunday she
got in a LITTLE girl who had been purchased at Green Dragon Farmers
Market in Lancaster in Aug. This little girl was living in a bird cage.
Two weeks after she came to live with her new owner she gave birth to
6 babies! Only 3 babies survived and they are now 10 weeks old. This
little girl has now been turned over to Claudia. We believe she is
at most 6 months old and maybe weighs 400 grams!!!!! And Tues night
Claudia got in a skinny stray boy who was found with his arm iced to
the ground! So in 1 week Claudia has taken in 5 ferrets! Claudia never
turns down a ferret in need.

We really need this raffle to be a great success to help pay for so
many unforeseen medical expenses. Many of Claudia's fosters have
needed medical care and this adds up very quickly.

The rescue has also had to have number of surgeries, and dentals
recently, which has also added to the large outstanding balance.

So please help the fur kids, and buy some tickets for the raffle!
