As I understand it from the manufacturer this is a provisional
formulation aimed at cats. There may be a follow up ferret formula.

I didn't intend to give the impression that this was an alternative
to raw but rather a better choice of kibble for those possibly older
ferrets who will not easily switch to raw (alfafa is only 3.9%
carbohydrate)
