All the furniture have had all cracks stuffed with newspaper, rags
and covered with heavy cardboard nailed and stapled to the frame. Yet
Peekaboo managed to find a place where even I can't get to and got in.
Those places she found I cannot plug where they are just not plug-able.
So for now I have moved their cage to the back room/porch where they
are out 24x7 for the moment. When it gets too hot I will have to make
other arrangements.
Now Pester has figured out how to get out of that ! I have a piece of
plywood in the sliding glass door to keep them in the back room. Pester
figured out that if she stands up by the edge where the sliding door
is and forces her back on the door and then 'walks' up on the plywood
only 2 inches away, she can get to the top and scurry over. She got out
twice last night, I watched her do this trick. She did this about 3 AM
so I just let her run around in the house till I got up. But wait,
where was Pester in the morning? Gone ! ! ! ! !
That little _$&)# figured out how to get back over the plywood somehow
and got back into the back room ! ! I found her in her hammy ! ! !
So I put a depth charge on the door. I have a piece of 2X4 hanging on
the edge where she 'walks' up to that effectively blocks that route.
From the back room side she should not be able to get out. Will see
how this works.
