Dear Bridge Greeters,
Our beautiful silver mitt boy, Blaise, is gone. He left for the Bridge
early in the morning of August 5th. He was only three and much, much
too young to leave us. He just went so very fast as our babies tend
to do. He passed lying in bed next to me. He is survived by his one
brother, Aiden, and his seven sisters, Alexis, Maggie, AnnaBelle,
Princess, Scarlett, Nellie, and Cracker.
Blaise was originally my daughter's ferret. I usually don't buy babies
from the pet shops as we all know there are way too many to adopt.
However, this day we were in to buy food and Kathryn saw this baby boy
with HUGE feet! I told her NO and we made our purchase and left the
store. (Mind you she was 16 at the time) While walking to the car she
pitched a tantrum worthy of anyone she threw at age two. So, Blaise
came to live with us! When Kathryn moved out on her own she left her
babies in the care of me and her Daddy. She didn't want to separate
our babies. She was Blaise's Mommy until the end.
He did indeed grow up to be a big, big boy. He would dook and dance and
be very respectful of his smaller sisters and visitors. He never bit
but did let Aiden know he was alpha male. He was such a beautiful boy
and was loved by all that knew him. His Auntie Susie adopted a boy she
named Boggle and at her last visit we took photos of Blaise and Boggle.
You couldn't tell them apart! I'm glad his Auntie got to see him one
last time when she left her babies for me to sit while she vacationed.
Bridge Greeters, please help him find our kids he hadn't met: Holly,
Michael, Lucy, and Rocky and reunite him with Sno and Pooh again. Well,
I gotta end this as I'm crying.
Blaise, you left us much too soon but I guess you had taught us all
what God had intended you to. And so he called to you and you
answered... Fly free because you have earned your wings....
Your loving family, Mommy, Nanny, Daddy, and your brother and sisters
