Ruggie's Ferret Rescue is up and running. And boy, we have had a lot of
surrenders in a short amount of time. We currently have 10 ferrets in
house and 1 staying with his owner that are looking for forever homes.

Here is a list of the groups and a little about them.

Ash and Spike
2 boys
Ages 3-5yrs
Sweethearts. Ash has a deformed back end but it doesn't affect him.
Spike is going to eventually need some teeth pulled.

Ringo and Lizzy
1 boy and 1 girl
Ages 3yrs
I would not suggest other ferrets or animals for this group. Ringo
snaps at other ferrets and Lizzy likes to latch on to the cats. Lizzy
is extreamly social and will curl up near or on you for a nap. Ringo is
a little scared of heights and gets scared if you pick him up too fast.
You have to really support him when you hold him up in the air.

Beaner, Gizmo, Angel and Spike
3 boys and 1 girl
Ages 1-4yrs
Great group. Gizmo gives lots of kisses. Angel does have low blood
sugar and is on Pred. Beaner is deaf, I think. Spike loves to follow
Noel around. He is more of a mans ferret. This group gets along with
some, but not all other ferrets.

Winter and Lucky
2 Girls
Ages 1yr
Winter is totally deaf. Both girls are healthy and very well behaved.
They get along with most other ferrets. They love to play. They do
better with a litter box outside the cage then inside. Lucky likes to
flip the box. Been using plain newspaper as litter inside the cage as
it makes less mess when flipped.

Buddy
1 boy
Age 2yrs
Buddy needs a new home quick. He is not here with me, but rather
staying with his owner. His owner is moving at the end of the month
and can not take Buddy with him. From what I have been told, Buddy
is not caged ever. He is very good with the litter box. He has never
been around other ferrets, but gets along with a relitives dog.

You can see all these kids at www.petfinder.org/shelters/OH667.html .
All have pictures posted except Lizzy and Ringo. I hope to get their
pictures posted soon.

Feel free to cross post this as I need to find good forever homes for
these kids.
