Just a note to mention, that on the Meerkats page on the Animal Planet
website, there's a beautiful poster of Flower and one of her pups,
announcing the 2008 release of a full length film, for theater
release, focusing on Flower's unique life. The film traces Flower's
evolution from a young meerkat, into a unique leader. The film will
also feature never before seen vantage points of the meerkats using
cameras attached to helicopters and "meerkam" technology with the
underground camera systems.

Yes, the conclusion of the "Journey's End" episode, was a shock. After
a 4 year rule, and mom of 29, it seemed that Flower was immortal. To
quote the narration, indeed, the desert has lost its favorite rose.
