Congratulations to all the winners in the October/November Friends of
Ferret Shelters raffle benefiting the Heaven Scent Rescue/Shelter of
Dothan, Alabama. The raffle, our last one of 2007, netted $635.51 for
the shelter after PayPal fees.

Many thanks to everyone who purchased tickets and donated raffle items.
We are especially grateful to Rose German of Little Feet Ferret Retreat
for donating a handmade, 9-piece bedding set that was purchased by
Bonnie Russell for an incredibly generous price!

Friends of Ferret Shelters was launched in January 2007 with a
Valentine's Day-themed raffle. This first year, FOFS raised almost
$4,165 for shelters in Virginia, Florida, Michigan (the DMK Rescue
Foundation), Wisconsin, Nevada and New York. Many, many thanks to all
of you who supported these raffles -- you made a very real difference
in the lives of shelter ferrets and their caregivers all over the
nation.
