I remember some time ago that Marshall Farms had information on their
website about the tats, but can't seem to find it now. I think that the
two ear tats represent spay/neuter & descent. I also think the back toe
tats were a random thing. (I know they have done that +/- 15 years as I
had a 10 1/2 y.o. with a back toe tat, and he's been dead for several
years now.

Here's a new one on me.....I currently have a MF with a tat on one of
her front toes! I don't ever recall seeing that before.

In the end, I don't think the tats mean much of anything to anyone,
except MF.
