Since I was the person who originally asked for the info from
veterinarians willing to help, I will try to respond to this. I do
know hat many shelters have arranged special prices through their
own vets. But, for those who have not, the following are from my
records. I have asked Tammy, who had them on her site, to try to
compile the info I sent to her.

Dr. Sandra Kudrak Mitchell in New York (845-565-0804) - spay/neuter
and vax

Dr. Jerry Murray in Farmer's Branch, TX (972-247-2221) - spay/neuter
and vax (Our rabies charge is $5, and distemper (Purevax) is $10.
Spay charge is $65, and neuter is $55.)

Dr. Haley Burke in Birmingham, AL (205-408-7480) - spay/neuter

Dr. Mitsie Vargas in Winter Haven, FL (863-324-6964) at Orchid Springs
Animal Hospital (http://www.osahvets.com), 615 Overlook Drive, Winter
Haven, Florida 33884 has offered to do spay/neuter at cost. This will
be $55 for males and $65 for females. A free exam will be included in
the cost.

Dr. Tom Kawasaki in Woodbridge, VA (703-494-0094) Old Bridge Veterinary
Hospital, 3604 Old Bridge Rd., Woodbridge, VA 22192 will provide the
following discounted services: Spay (females) - $50.00,
Neuter (males) - $25.00 and Vaccinations with a free check-up - $10.00.

Dr. L.L. Snyder in Bossier City, LA (318-74) will spay/neuter 10 at
no charge. He will honor Humane Society vouchers for additional
spay/neuters, reducing the out of pocket expense to $25. Vouchers may
be obtained by contacting Nancy Sevier, local Humane Society President
(318-469-3643)

Dr. Deborah Cottrell in Gainesville FL (352-472-7626 local or
(800)485-2088 Toll-free) said she'd donate 20 spay/neuter surgeries &
reduce the price 50% for any thereafter. She is located at West End
Animal Hospital, 15318 W. Newberry Rd., Newberry, FL 32669
(http://www.westendanimal.com/).

Dr. Karen Gordon in Shreveport, LA (318-424-8313) has offered to
spay/neuter up to 20 ferrets at no charge before they go to their
homes. She is located at North Shreveport Animal Hospital, 850 Havens
Rd., Shreveport, LA 71107. May have vax available for donation also.

Hope this helps.
