I was asked by our vet to post the following message to the FML:

"Dr. Michael Garner at NW ZooPath recently informed me that there have
been 3 cases of food-related nephropathies in ferrets. We are still
waiting for more information on the ferrets' diets. We will keep the
ferret community up to date on the situation as new information is
available.
