suggestions: Have you tried diazoxide? I have had very good results
with it - generic as well as name brand. Also, towards the end, my
ferret vet suggested adding some high sugar supplementation to their
duck soup/chicken gravy ... like a bit of karo syrup. She explained
that it does not cause wild up and down swings in the sugar levels
as it does in people. [...]44_23May200713:41:[log in to unmask] 0705 13356 23 62_Ferret Chat Reminder for Thursday, May 24, 2007 at 10:00 PM [log in to unmask], 23 May 2007 13:01:01 -0600407_- Come join us tonight at

the website is up and running (thanks to the assistance of Holly
Harper) and is downright adorable!!! There is also a Paypal addy going
directly to Kat with a notifier to me so I can issue the raffle #'s.
The website is being updated daily as donations continue to come in.
The package I donated pales in comparison to the other wonderful
packages that were donated, so I'm doing my best to beef it up a
little...even though I'm still home and recovering from surgery, I
don't [...]56_23May200709:56:[log in to unmask] 0705 13424 34 30_May Buck-A-Month Club [log in to unmask], 23 May 2007 10:00:11 -0700365_- It is that time once again!

film noir aficionado, it's time to weigh in here. Like many, especially
those who have chosen to leave California because of their ridiculous
rules regarding domestic ferrets, I have become somewhat , how shall I
say.sensitive to anything that resembles bad press for these lovable
little furballs. This commercial is in plain bad taste and needs to
be pulled immediately.even if it is a spoof. One responder correctly
noted that the movies spoofed are R rated and that youngsters cannot
be exposed to them in a mass form, [...]43_23May200710:22:[log in to unmask] 0705 13500 42 23_Diff views on Mt Dew Ad12_mandy [log in to unmask]

Omg, I was eating toast and it almost came up.

How in the world, ya know?

I'm glad other ferrets were out with her, Ardith. Hmm. I wonder if it's
"safer" in a way if you have them out in groups rather than alone. I
never thought about it. But when I let a ferret out alone, I tend to
"forget" about them easier, and I'm not nearly as as alert as to where
they are or what they are doing.

That was a close one. Good gosh.

Hey Sukie, other than fluid build up, did I not once read that ferrets
can "pool" blood or something like that and hemorage from physical
stress? (dont' worry Ardith, if I'm right with my memory, it happens
immediately)
