Subject:
heartworm test in ferrets

As a long shot, I wanted to test Ismo for heartworms (a couple odd
symtoms are similar although I know it's unlikely).

I read a few articles that said the Snaps test by Indexx labs is the
best as it is an anigen test. I also read that tests that go by the
larval heartworm in blood are usually negative.

My vet used Heartworm Feline AG (Heska) to test, does anyone know if
this is a valid heartworm test for ferrets?

Risa
