Regarding the Doug McKay rescue in Ohio of hundreds of ferrets:
Anyone who even thinks ... they can kick around the idea of lending a
hand to the rescuers in Ohio needs to contact Risa or Renee Downs at:
[log in to unmask] and [log in to unmask]
They need hands in Ohio as workers are working until midnight each
night. Any help is welcome, but if you can stay several days, a week,
or even more ... that is what would really help if you could muster
that. Like anyone else, this rescue may have caught you completely
off guard. And so your head might be swimming with ideas as to how to
arrange things so that you could even think about going go. I am asking
that if you have the desire at all, at all ... things might be able to
be worked out. I had several obstacles that prevented me from going,
and Risa and Renee worked them ALL out out. I had some pretty odd
obstacles too, let me tell you. I never thought anyone would go to
the trouble to help me. But they did. I have a personal problem with
an ill baby cockatoo that I can't seem to make arrangements for (it's
very complicated), so I cannot.
In addition, if you have any miles earned, airline miles that you can
donate, that would be tremondous help.
