Family,
I want to let you know how very grateful I am for all your love and
support, for all the cards, letters and emails. Your outpouring of love
has been unbelievable, and I am forever grateful to each and every one
of you for it. You have know idea how much it lifted my spirits and
made me want to go on.
The raffle money has indeed been a blessing and since I can no longer
work it is really going to help me not to worry about food and litter
for a while. I am going to get 2 skids of litter, food for the ferrets,
and put the rest aside to go to the vet or more food as needed. I still
have all my old timers here plus my personals. I may take some and buy
a new pressure cooker to make our duck soup as ours is real old and is
acting up It already blew up once and it scares me. I hope that is OK
with everyone!
Simply saying thank you seems inadequate, but I do thank you from the
bottom of my heart. You will never know how much you all mean to me and
I will forever be grateful and thank God for each and every one of you.
We are truly a family and the ferret community has proved that to me
such a blessing you all are.
I am on steroids 4 days, then off 4 days, and being off them makes me
very sick. I am on them right now, so I wanted to write this short note
to let you know how I feel. I will be back on at a later time when I
feel better, and will write more at that time.
So until then, please know how grateful I am for each and every
blessing that has come my way. I am deeply appreciative and so are my
shelter kids. We are still open for emergencies and will not turn any
ferret away. I am also grateful for each and every one of you, and I
would ask if you would keep me in your prayers.
