Kevin,

Just so you can understand, "NONE" of the ADV test are 100% acurate.
Even the blood tests have their faults as I found out from Untited when
they were still around BECAUSE I "asked" questions. As I was told "BY"
United themselves, there are many things that can throw the test off.
Such as: taking sample TOO close to vaccinations being done, respitory
infections, CANCER, etc. The tests are only as good as the day the
samples were taken wether it by blood or saliva. So no, using the quick
tests are NOT like doing nothing at all, but IMO should be followed up
with the Avecon send in saliva test (which I use) or the send in blood
test done by UGA or the other one who is doing it now.

The quick tests can be viewed on the same line as a home Pregnancy test
which are also not 100% accurate and also need to be followed up by the
in office test at the doctors. (I know this from personal experiance as
I did a HPT for S&G. It came up possitive and there was no way IH this
test was accurate as it was physical impossible for me to get pregnant,
missing parts due to cancer.)

The major point of my previous point is, these other ferret
shelters/rescues didn't have to get involved. They did it with their
hearts in the right place and NEED help with the finances. Shall we
say that the requirements can aslo be considered Discrimination? I
think so.

This is just my personal heartfelt opinoin but I'd pretty darn sure
there are others out there that feel the same way I do.

Debi
