A few days ago, I watched a local television news broadcast (WOFL
FOX-35), concerning a strange pet illness. Mostly, the strage illness
effected cats and kittens, causing their kidneys and livers to shut
down. If this can happen to cats and kittens, it can effect our other
pets and children.

Link Between Carpet And Cat Disease!
The federal government says there's a link between flame retardant
chemicals found in some carpet and feline hyperthyroidism. It's a
disease that was virtually unheard of 30 years ago, but is becoming
more and more common. The good news is that it's curable if caught
early enough.
