Immunization clinics
The Oneida County Health Department has scheduled rabies immunization
clinics for pet dogs, cats and ferrets for 2007.
Pet owners can have their animal vaccinated for a donation of $5 to
help defray the program's costs. Animals must be at least 4 months
old and leashed or in a pet carrier.
Dogs and cats being vaccinated for the first time will receive a
one-year certification. A three-year certification will be issued to
pets with proof of previous vaccination. Ferrets can only receive a
one-year certification. No physical examinations will be performed.
For clinic times and locations, call 798-5064 or visit www.ocgov.net.
