I wanted to say thanks to all who sent cards. I sometimes feel like I'm
ignored partly because I do other rescues also such as cats and dogs.
Of course I have stopped those due to the fact that I'm at my limit,
but still have many to care for. I spend much more of my time and money
on the ferrets. As we all know, ferrets take up your time 24/7. There
are cage cleanings daily, group playtime, laundry daily, and vet care &
food for the ferrets is more expensive. Even though I do other animals
also, they take up less of my time.

By receiving those cards, it made my day each day I received one and
I began to feel appreciated again. It's really sad because so many
shelters are closing and not many new ones opening. The sad truth
is, there are not enough shelters out there to handle the amount of
unwanted & abused ferrets. The number of surrenders just keeps growing.
The ideal thing would be to see the breeders slow down on the amount
sold, of course, I realize this is not going to happen. The mighty
dollar is more important to them.

So, again, I want to thank each and every one of you that sent a card.
It made my day:-)
