Was just thinking of some of the moments I had with ferts. Nibble-ed
was an extremely intelligent little animal. She could do things a human
was not capable of. She could figure things out, map ways to get to
things and get there. If Magellan had Nibble-ed's mind he would have
landed on the moon!

I really hate those water bottles. The fert really does not get a good
drink but they manage to solve the thirst. I have self filling water
dispensers, got the last one at Walmart for $8 and it works perfect.

When I first got Nibble-ed she had never seen one. I put her in the
cage and then cleaned and filled the water dispenser. She of course had
to investigate all that. She wanted to know what was 'that' down in the
corner of the water pool of the dispenser so she just stuck her nose
right down there. The water came up all the way over her head up to the
ears! That was ok till she wanted to breathe and that proved to be a
problem. Ha! Her head came out of there and she sputtered and gagged
till she figured out what water was. She had never seen a pool of water
having always used those water bottles.

She had recovered from that so I turned the TV on. Man! Nib went nuts
trying to hide from what ever that was coming out of the wide screen
TV! Ha!

Ferts are lots of fun and are fun to watch. Kind of like watching a
kid learn about life!
