Thanks Giving Cards!

I send a heartfelt Thank You to those who filled my PO box with Thank
you Cards which arrived just after Thanksgiving. It certainly is nice
to be remembered. With so many older and ill ferrets the only folks I
get to talk to lately is ones who no longer want the ferrets they
have..

These cards certainly did lighten up the day! I especially was pleased
with the goodie bag that arrived just yesterday with bagged coffee,
cocoa and tea. I am taking that to the first floor where I spend a lot
of time these days with Nestle so I can use the microwave there and
visit with him while having a break. What a wonderful idea that was..
it took the mail to implant an idea :) Why is it that many of us ferret
caretakers get so wound up caring for critters we never think of taking
a moment or two for ourselves? This was a gift and a timely reminder
for me!

I also apologize to those few subscribers waiting on the Frolic. We
have been trying to get the funds up to publish & print the newsletter,
this has turned out to be an especially lean year-- and the few ( less
than a dozen subscribers does not in any way pay for the cost of the
printing and mailing.. We need to do this out of house as our copier
needs a new drum and it is not feasible to repair it.. it is old enough
that it is obsolete!

sigh - Just another hurdle in the education work here at Ferret Wise.

We hope to get it printed and mailed prior to the Christmas Holiday-
so please bear with us!
