the dog ... er wolf? Good lord. I got screwed, rescrewed and tatooed!
No KY. No Astroglide. Nuthin.

The first time needs some background to understand why I got screwed.
Remember the little white peanut thing I was fostering for Karen

Nope. Wasn't me. I don't know which Alex was quoted yesterday in Rick's
post.

ferrets are being widely distributed now.

1. WOULD IT BE POSSIBLE FOR THE RESCUES WHO ARE ACCEPTING THESE ANIMALS
TO ALL BE LISTED SOMEWHERE?

The site would probably best be a site that is independent of any
individual shelters.

These new locations are where the increasing need seems to be, and it
sounds like their needs will be mostly medical (and mostly at these
other locations which are accepting these ferrets after transport). [...]42_11Oct200715:09:[log in to unmask] 0710 9905 21 37_Re: Veterinarians on Ohio rescue [log in to unmask], 11 Oct 2007 15:32:47 EDT445_- >From: Susann Thiel <[log in to unmask]>

I sent the info for the Shreveport/Bossier City, LA to someone, but it
hasn't posted yet. There are others here that I have found out about
but they mainly do just the vaccines and not surgery/spay/neuter or
anything else. The 2 I sent info on was Dr. Karen Gordon in Shreveport
and Dr. Larry Snyder in Bossier City, LA [...]42_11Oct200715:32:[log in to unmask] 0710 9927 16 8_websites8_Angela [log in to unmask], 11 Oct 2007 20:30:10 -0700288_- My website is still up. I think what you did Tammy was awesome, an im

and the OFFICiAL one is still here at

Hum that's funny this web site seem's to still be here.. why would
anyone say it was gone? I know everyone WHO made a Web page for this
Cause didnt' do it for Rewards Other then the Ferret's all getting what
they needed. I can't believe some of the ferret community fighting over
a web site and whining. This is just to voice my view's as everyone
else has. [...]46_11Oct2007

Another angel is in Heaven as of this past Tuesday 10-9. I had to help
my Noni to the bridge and sure never gets any easier. Her brother Elvis
picked her out of the Oregon City shelter while he was on chemo for his
lymphoma. It was love at first sight for both of them and they were
always together till he passed a year this past Jan. Elvis will also be
wanting her to meet Gizzy & Sissy who passed over 3yrs ago. She always
was climbing the baby gate to get into the livingroom, which I only let
them in once in a while, but she sure was determined to get over that
gate!! It was her whole goal at night when I had them out. Now Sam is
left alone and I will be trying to find another shelter kid that he
will get along with. He was 4 this last June and is a ferret ferret,
he just puts up with me playing with him!

So please greet my baby and let her know how very hard I tried to save
her and how much her brother and I miss her and wish she were still
with us. My sympathy's to all who have also lost babies lately. You are
all in my prayers and I am so very touched at how hard everyone has
worked to get the Ohio ferrets to new homes. I live in Oregon and wish
that I lived closer so I could have come and helped.

God's blessings to all,
Julie & Sam
