We have cages in medium to mostly large sizes available for the Ohio
rescues if anyone at all might be passing through our way that can pick
them up, either in a U-haul or a towing platform; there are about 17
cages and only 4 of them break down into panels, so these will take up
a good deal of space.

We haven't got the vehicle to get them there, our ancient old station
wagon can only make very short trips, nor the "manpower", since there's
just two of us, but we would really, Really like to see all these large
cages go to better use than sitting out, currently unused. Besides
this, nearly every time anyone turns in another ferret, especially Air
Force and Navy based folks shipping overseas, we get yet another cage
with the turn-ins that we can't use. Our current ferret population is
at 61 ferrets and that's just enough for us to handle, since it has
been as high as 72 ferrets and we've been able to make 24 adoptions
over the last two months.

Boy oh, boy, I sure hope this message gets through! Everything sent to
the FML has been returning undeliverable for the last couple of months.
We would very very much like to see all our excess ferret cages go to
the Ohio rescue situation. Hello-ooo-ooo, out there?
