Hi folks, dis is SaraFerret. I was checking thru de Boss's Big Book of
Ferrets when out dropped a note requesting a check to see how Phoenix,
Eloiner, Grampa Frasier, Deifenbaker, Mongo, Indy, Vic, and Turnbull
were doing here. Now I usually doesn't do dis, but oh well. So offs I
goes with note in paw. Now where could dey be. I sure hopes dey were
in one place, cause I has been busy lately.
I went down de garden path to one cottage and knocked on de first
address; sorry de fuzzy said, dey had moved to another cottage as dis
one was too small and pointed me to another place. (It would be nice
if dey posted forwarding addresses in de Big Book). So I wents to dat
cottage and on de door was a note: We have gone to de Otters' MudSlide
for de day. SIGH! So off I went down de garden path.
I could hear de happy dooking and carrying on of otters and fuzzies and
skunks and then I spotted a group of fuzzies covered completely with
mud. Has anyone see any of Emilie's fuzzies, I asked. The first one
spoke up, I am Eloiner. I am one of Emilie's fuzzies. And dis is Grampa
Frasier. Well I replied, Your Mommy Emilie wants to know how you are
doing. Well all of the group quickly ran off and rinsed themselves off
and returned in a flash. Dey intoduced theirselves and sure enough,
dey were as Emilie had described dem. Cinnamons, Cinnamon blaze panda
mitts, all sorts of colors.
They walked with me back to their cottage and we had de usual iced
sweet tea and squirt cheese and crackers and dey filled me in on dere
lives at de bridge since dey had arrived. It seems that dere old place
had just become so crowded dat dey had to move to a much bigger group
of cottages. Eloiner showed me how spotless everything was (well it
was spotless except when de boys got messy and threw things around).
Between mudslides and watersurfing and just fun and games dey kept so
busy. And in between times dey just hung around de place and slept or
just put on music and wardance like old times. It was so great to be
together. Of course dey all missed dere beloved Mommy Emilie.
We went down to de misting pond and we swished de water and saw Mommy
appear and de whole group waved and threw hugs and kisses and wrapped
dem with dere love and laid them on a nearby shooting star and sent it
on its way to you with the story of the Rainbow Bridge and the promise
of being reunited and running together forever in the future. With
another swish the vision was gone. So we trotted back to their cottage
and continued our visit.
SaraFerret wrote her report once she returned. Yes dese fuzzies are
doing great and all is well. It was so noted in de Boss's Big Book of
Ferrets.
So ended another check-up at de Bridge.
SaraFerret, Bridgegreeter
