It's official - the 2006 Hurrican season (June 1 - November 30) is
over! Although it has ended please be aware that hurricanes can occur
at any time. And, now we have winter storms, power outages and, in
some places, tornadoes, floods and fires to worry about.
Last year, in the wake of Katrina, the Ferret Emergency Response,
Rescue & Evacuatio Team was formed. We have had a quiet season, for
which we are grateful, but that can change at any time. Attached are
two files for the winter, what to do to prepare and one on generators.
These are avalaible at your local Red Cross if you caanot get them
here (FML does not allow attachments). They will also be in the files
section of the F.E.R.R.E.T. group. Access to all these sites below my
name.

It's amazing how much can be accomplished if nobody cares who gets the
credit!
