Hello anonymous,
I have used this resource to find multiple vets here in CA for
my fuzzies, and I have yet to have a problem with any of them.
http://www.ferretsanonymous.com/vets.html
Vets aren't required to report treating or seeing ferrets, so you
shouldn't have any legal problems with them. But of course, call the
vet first and make sure they still see ferrets before you give them
any identifying information, just to be safe.
If you want, you can e-mail me directly and I'll tell you which vets
I have used. All three that I've used have been fantastic and truly
loved ferrets (I changed due to moving, not problems with the vet).
