Hi all,

I spoke with Rhonda Holderman of NM Game & Fish, and she asked me to
pass along the following information:

Pet ferrets [private bred & pet store] ARE recognized as domestic
animals by NM Game & Fish, and 'will not' be included on the *exotic
permit required* list. The "some ferrets" included [as per the
Farmington news article] are, of course... Black Footed Ferrets,
since northern NM does participate in the BFF release program and
has an established colony.

Our carpet sharks were never in question, according to Rhonda Holderman
of NM Game & Fish.
