Animal Planet had the Arizona Humane Society rescues on last night.
One of the rescues was what they thought was a skinny female ferret.
It was under a pound. It was filthy and so skinny and looked adrenal.

Next thing you know, after a brief episode washing the ferret, you
find it in the home of a woman who has many ferrets. The filthy skinny
female is actually a male and now weighs 2 1/2 pounds.The fur is
plentiful and white. He looked so happy and handsome.

This is the first ferret rescue I recall seeing on Animal Planet. I was
thrilled to see that it lived through the Arizona heat and lack of food
and water for several days. And I was happy to see the ferrety home he
found.

Nothing negative said about the ferret. It was all warm and fuzzy.
