Dear FML family,

It is with great sadness that I share with you the death last Friday
of the Colburn family computer, following a brief illness. A recent
virus proved too much for the unit to overcome. The property of Dann
and Alexandra, the desktop PC has performed admirably through the
years, providing a means to entertain and educate many in the ferret
community. It will be sorely missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you respect their need to
remain incommunicado throughout their period of mourning. Following
the adoption of a homeless computer in the near future, Ms. Colburn
will re-establish her relationship with the FML and respond to all
correspondence in a timely manner. Until that time, please know that
you are not being ignored.

It's amazing how much can be accomplished if nobody cares who gets the
