Am I the only one confused?

There are several studies that indicate melatonin helps reduce some of
the hormones related to adrenal and is beneficial. On the other hand,
there are also studies indicating it's effects are strictly cosmetic.

I read everything I can find on both sides of the discussion (thank you
Sukie for helping with that), but geez! How is the average shelter Mom,
owner, or just plain ferret lover suppose to navigate all this
confusion?
