I got a call tonight from a hysterical lady saying that she was going
to have her ferrets "put down" tomorrow morning if she could not find a
good home with a person who has owned ferrets before. Apparently, one
has major biting issues. I am not sure how serious she really is about
having them put down, but I don't feel like I am in a position to take
them on myself. Does anyone know of a ferret shelter in the Upstate SC
area or nearby? If you know anyone who can help, please send me an
