The Greater Chicago Ferret Association, will be at Booth #1335 this
weekend (Friday - Sunday), at the annual Chicagoland Family PET EXPO.
March 16, 17th and 18th.
This year, a new site for the Expo:
Renaissance Convention Center in Schaumburg, IL.
This is a much nicer facility and set up for the show. (Previous site
was Arlington Park Race Course facility). There is an entry fee to the
show, but free parking. Friday hours: 2pm - 7pm; Saturday 9am - 7pm;
and Sunday 10am - 5pm.
The GCFA booth has items to sell for ferrets and their owners, plus
they have some great raffles! There are so many vendors, you may need
the three days to see them all. Lots of events planned with various
other animas, vendors will have samples to give out, raffle tickets,
demos, and you'll have a great time socializing with other animal
oriented folks, and perhaps learn some new info about the various
critters. There won't be ferrets to adopt at the GCFA booth - you'll
have to make an appt. to go to the shelter in Lyons, IL., but there
will be photos of some available ferrets to adopt. Some of us
volunteering at the booth this weekend, will have some of our ferrets
there to help out in the educational process of the general public,
that may not know too much about ferrets, and helping to clear up
myths.

Stop by the GCFA booth and let us know you're an FML member!
