Glad to hear everything worked out for you in radio land!! That's
one victory for ferrets!
Re: Ferrets in cars ....I used to let my ferret run free. He would
inspect the vehical to make sure it was OK, then curl up in my
shirt or jacket. Then one day I had a box in the back seat and
it was warm out, so I had the window down. So while zooming
down the highway @ ~ 60Mph, the ferret decided to jump (without
a ferret parachute!) out the window. I turned my head just in
time 2 C 2 little ferret legs and tail disappear out the window
in a blurr!. **RED ALERT ** GOTO EVASIVE MANUEVERS! THRUSTERS
AT FULL REVERSE! SHIELDS DOWN ..ACTIVATING MULTILANE CHANGE ..
EMERGENCY LANDING ** &^$%#@!}O?Y!:-( I got out of my car 2 C
the ferret sliding down the highway on his side! Then a passed
directly over him! As the next car approached, the ferret had
recomposed himself and dared the car to pass! (Now there's
a lesson for you, 'When life throws it's worst @ you, Just Bare
your teeth and HISS while shaking your head from side 2 side
vicously!) After 2 cars passed, He made off to the other side
of the hiway .. well I got him back and he had had enough! So
I plotted a course for the nearest vet - WARP 9 - No major
injuries .. just bruised nose and side .... One tough (and not to
brite) ferret. I can just imagine being a ferret hanging 1/2
my body out a moving car ..hearing the road whiz by ..and going
COOL ..COWABUNGA DUD!!!
Next time I tell you about the time that the ferret ...
