I agree with Marie's post from yesterday regarding the fact that people
should not have lions as pets. But I question whether or not she
stopped to consider that maybe this was not a pet, and that perhaps a
zookeeper (with a pet ferret) brought the cub home to nurse back to
health or for another good reason. I don't know where the video came
from, so I just wanted to state that maybe we're jumping the gun about
wild animals as pets, when there's a good chance that this lion cub was
not a pet at all.
