First of all we hope all of you have a happy & healthy new year!

Second again we much say thank you so much to all of you who chose our
ferrets on the giving tree and sent packages! We mailed thank yous to
those that had return addresses on them, but some did not- so I want
to make sure everyone knows how very grateful we are that our rescued
ferrets had their best Christmas ever!!!!

And sadly we are now down to 17 ferrets, one of the oldest -Harley -
nearly 7, adrenal babies gave up the good fight 2 days ago - We syringe
fed him for a couple of days, my teenage daughter changed her plans to
make sure she could be here every moment monitoring him too. He was
named Harley the owners said because - when he had fur!- he looked
like he was wearing motorcycle chaps - they surrendered 4 ferrets
last month- and 3 are adrenal & had been bald for over a year with
no medical treatment! People irritate me to no end......

Anyway along with harley we recently had Maggie the hedgehog with
malignant cancer and Walnut the rat who was just old and lived a good
life - all go to the rainbow bridge in the last couple of weeks- it
doesn't matter how many critters are here, every single one of them is
a precious life that we mourn when it's gone- We will miss them all-
