As you know, several states already have laws that prevent the sale of
kits below the age of 8 weeks. Hopes and efforts are for this to extend
more widely to better protect kit health.
Some of the people in states which already have 8 week laws or
regulations would like to have dental photographs of kits. Ages 6 weeks
through 12 weeks would be ideal, but the big thing is to get images of
the changes that happen at week 8, with what may be most noticeable to
pet store and inspection people being the replacement of needle-like
baby (deciduous) canines with the permanent (adult) conical canines.
Could a few, kind breeders who are able to take such photographs and
share them PLEASE put them into a photo album in the photos section at
