Telemna is an old fashioned silvermitt, not one of those partials who
are clearly neural crest variations but a gray ferret whose mitts and
bib are cleanly, evenly, and completely replaced with white, and
matched from side to side.

We have noticed that EVERY one of these we have had (and several of
friends who tried it) LOVE MINT, especially peppermint. Telemna is like
the rest; she thinks that King Leo mints and even Altoids are PERFECT,
so this season comes complete with a need to hide the mint candies. The
rest sneeze and move away. I've mentioned it to a classical genetics
professor who thinks it might be a genetic difference in taste, smell,
or both. (Telemna, BTW, has an incredibly good sense of smell, but some
vision and hearing reduction. The others with similar markings whom we
have had have been fine for all three. All whom Steve and I have had
with this sort of clean bib and mitt replacement have been healthy and
smart, with Emmy somewhat athletic and the others far more so.)
