The Poop-in-the-Corner Gang officially moved to the Bridge this summer.
Now the Wandering Weasels, or the Meandering Mustelids, whatever suits
your fancy, are at four:
Rocky (aka Bobbles, Bobblehead) is a beautiful sable rescue from Lisa
Leidig, who spared no expense or effort to save this little boy from
death. He is 3 now and is as clueless as ever. But, he is the sweetest
boy and always checks in with Mom when he rouses from his dead ferret
sleep! Deaf. Also, hilarious! Will wander all over looking at litter
pans and paper until he just can't hold it anymore before deciding
WHERE to go!
Sammy is another lovely silver boy. he is 6 years plus and the only
one left from a group of three surrendered in 2004. Thanks to Rick and
Candi White of SAFE, who called and asked if I could take in three
ferrets, two who have died in the past 18 months at the the ages of 8
and 9. Active and playful with others.
Jersey is white and came to my attention in the fall of 2005 and my
home in January, after the person keeping him could no longer do so.
She placed animals who were surrendered and Jersey needed a special
home. He is an older gentleman (at least 6 or 7) with a
wonderfulpersonality. He gives such sweet kisses. Jersey LOVES chicken
blended with broth and is absolutely lovely. Plays like a young 'un now
that he is on drugs!
Odie is another sable, probably about 3 or 4, who was taken in by
Brenda at Lakeroad Ferret Farm in NY. He joined us in late September
and is also a doll. Grooms my eyelids and has the roughest tongue! Not
really sure about drinking from a bowl - prefers the bathtub, but is
so pllayful. he seems to enjoy having the others around to play.
Through our hearts and at the Bridge are Sammie, Smokey, Li'l Girl,
Giggles, Brumbey, Peytah, Shadow, Oscar, Sir Walter, Bubbles, Dodger,
Buddy, Swee' Pea, Rosie, Maggie Mae, Pigglet, Baby and one regret -
Chloe.
Many others passed through our home and found wonderful homes with
others. Current placements from my home (foster): Chica Marie and
Poquito Grande (CO), Kimba and Kuda (AZ)

It's amazing how much can be accomplished if nobody cares who gets the
credit!
