Ok, so not exactly "high art;' but I accidently caught a re-run of that
un-witty NBC show, "Wings."  Some fellow with a foreign accent comments
re: some woman with a temper tantrum:  "Looks like somebody woke up with
a ferret in her trousers."
 
I also took a look at the Washington, DC ordinance re: ferrets, and as far as I
can tell, it doesn't forbid ownership of ferrets (which they lump into one
category with foxes, and skunks), it just seems to forbid traffic in them.
I'll do some more research.
