I have a friend who has an older ferret - his cage mate passed away
about a year ago. This 4.5 yo ferret has dipped into depression and
weight loss several times since Kimba passed a year ago.
   
He is being given soup and Prilosec OTC.. the active ingredient in
PRILOSEC (omeprazole) Delayed-Release Capsules is a substituted
benzimidazole...

Does anyone have any information about this product and how safe it
may be to give to a ferret and in what dosage?
