The Ferret Business of GA in Marietta, GA will be doing a huge
undertaking of testing all ferrets currently at the shelter and in
foster home on September 23rd for ADV. We will be holding a raffle
short to help defray some of the cost, so please help participate --
all money will go towards the testing.
Our Ferret Business of GA currently has every cage filled to overflowing,
even extra cages in the quarantine area and all foster homes are filled.
There are several babies, and lots of the ferrets ranging from 2 to 3
years old. If you have been thinking about adopting a ferret into your
family, this is the perfect time. Or if you want to foster a cage of
ferrets ... that would be a welcome help also. (if fostering, your
fuzzies will need to be ADV tested also).
If you are in the Georgia area, and wanted to do some volunteering at a
shelter, there is more than enough things to do each night ... pick a
night. Any help is welcome.... play with ferrets, clean cages, change
water bottles and food bowls, clip nails. Is there something that you
really are good at and want to do ... let Juliana know and she will
gladly let you handle it.
Please, please help in any way you can. If you don't live near us, help
at one near you. ... even one hour a day volunteering can give a shelter
Mom some relief and the joy of seeing the ferrets play with you is
"priceless".
Thanks for helping and caring,
Florence Love
