One of my babies was just diagnosed with a tumour on his spine. The tumour
has already eaten away the lower part of his vertebrae and he is paralyzed
from the waste down. The vet doesn't think he has much longer to live, in
fact she thinks it would be days. However the last few days he seems to be
perking up, eating his porridge really well and actually taking interest in
his toys and stuff. Course he can't get around very well and I have to help
him by holding up his back end while he uses his hands. His arms work just
fine. My husband is pretty good at building things but I'd rather have a
proven and tested set of wheels to help him get around. Since the doctor
doesn't think he has much longer, waiting for actual Tazzie wheels might
take too long, so I'm hoping to get the blue print for Tazzie Wheels and get
the supplies today/tomorrow. Or if anyone has any ideas that could help my
guy I'd really like to hear your thoughts. This is really hard, I've never
had to 'wait' for a tumour to take one of my babies. I feel really helpless
that I can't do surgery. Thank goodness I can bring him to work with me and
take care of him around the clock.
