I have a question about two of my kids. I have a hob and a gib housed
together. They are buddies. The hob -Sebastian- has been in and out
of rut and has never tried to harm DeNiro-the gib. When they wrestle
and play, DeNiro cries like a sissy when Bastian is hardly even touching
him. For that reason they have been dubbed Broke Back Mountain.. They
are together always, playing, sleeping. When they are out they are
always together.Their relationship amazes me as Sebastian has never
shown any agression toward DeNiro as "typical hobs" are known to do
towards other ferrets. Does anyone have any input on why this may be?
BTW, I have not had Bastian neutered because I don't want him to lose
his beautiful coat & weight. When I had DeNiro neutered, he lost his
weight, his coat and it has never come back. This was in November of
last year. Is it possible that it could return? This is very
distresssing. This once big beautiful boy now looks like a butch cut
rat....but he's still my boy and I love them both.
