Write your state and federal representatives and tell them you want your
public lands protected against corporate interests. The Bureau of Land
Management recently sold drilling rights to 13,000 acres of black-footed
ferret habitat in Colorado.

Tell them you want prairie habitats protected. This is especially
important if you live in in any of the states from AZ to MT to ND to TX.
Contact wildlife conservancy groups that you are a member of and tell
them you want them to support bff recovery. A list of agencies and
non-profits involved with bff recovery is at

If you are involved with any schools or children's groups such as scouts,
church groups, etc, organize an educational program about bffs.
