My life has taken an unexpected turn and I will not be able to keep all
of my ferrets. I have been doing rescue/adoption on a small scale for
the last 5 years or so, and I had planned to stop doing rescue after
this winter. Now in addition, I am facing probable divorce and I know
I cannot provide for all of my remaining ferrets. I am overwhelmed at
this time. Several of them are middle-aged and have suspected adrenal
problems but are on melatonin and doing well; some are younger and
without known issues. I hope to keep the older ones and some others
who are dear to me. I would prefer to find them homes on my own rather
than take them to another shelter. I know how stressful that can be on
the ferrets.

I will be happy to answer questions or provide details about the
ferrets via private email. I am sorry I do not have the strength to be
more specific here; it's just too difficult. I live in western WI on
the border of WI/MN. I may be able to help transport within a few hours
