Why is buying a healthy, well-socialized kit from a reputable breeder
so horrible?
Adopting from shelters is a WONDERFUL thing to do. You can't beat it!
But if someone wants a kit who is less likely to develop cancer later
in life - LESS LIKELY, not the same as a guarantee not to develop
cancer - or just wants a baby but doesn't want to support a petstore,
then by all means, go to a good breeder.
We need good shelters AND good breeders. I want people to have places
to go to get a baby OTHER than the petstore (yes, shelters get babies
sometimes - but it's not as common as dog/cat shelters getting kittens
and puppies).
